SuperGaN® Evaluation Boards and Kits

Transphorm’s evaluation boards and kits are ideal for a variety of applications including telecommunications and automotive

Transphorm’s SuperGaN device portfolio offers several advantages including excellent performance and reliability along with easy drivability and designability among others. Because of these fundamental advantages, the portfolio supports a large range of power conversion requirements (45 W to 10+ kW) across a wide range of power applications. As such, Transphorm produces several easy-to-use, fully populated evaluation boards to help engineers investigate the benefits of its high-voltage GaN FETs.

The evaluation boards are available in various topologies used in AC/DC, DC/AC, and DC/DC power conversion systems. The boards are proven to deliver on average greater than 99% efficiency in topologies such as the bridgeless totem pole PFC, half-bridge synchronous buck or boost, and others. Helping engineers maximize their evaluation efforts, higher power boards leverage a pre-programmed dsPIC digital power PIM from Microchip Technology to simplify firmware development. Additionally, a daughter card can be used with select evaluation kits to allow for easy swapping and analysis of multiple Transphorm FETs depending on power level requirements.
